Description from the seller
Unique abstract expressionist large painting from the series 'Abstract face' with a total large canvas size (with extra white borders) measuring 120 x 105 x 1 cm. The work was painted in 2025. The painting will be shipped rolled, without a stretcher frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is 110 x 95 x 2 cm.
For buyers from the Netherlands who wish to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible, by arrangement and for a fee, to have the canvas stretched on the stretching frame.
In this work I released my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and dynamic color additions on canvas to cross each other in a dynamic dance. From the chaos, a sense of harmony emerges.
Paint is applied with palette knives on canvas - with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Beaded, and with a certificate of authenticity.
The dynamics, expression, and freedom of the artist's artistic expression are clearly visible. This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. The condition of the work is excellent, varnished, with a certificate of authenticity.
Original, highly unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch contemporary artist Jovan Srijemac (born 1962). For over 40 years, Jovan has sold his work worldwide to private collectors, art enthusiasts, and companies. Throughout his long career, he has also been exhibited at various Art Fairs. Jovan works seven days a week in his own Art Studio / Gallery in the Netherlands.
The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my mind, the inner robbed energy, wants to come out like a volcano, resulting in an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition.
From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint on the canvas, arise initially unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition. Just like the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, shaping personality, and life. Often conceived unexpectedly, we are born, we grow up, and we are all framed within our bodies, our structure, but each is unique in its own way.
