Description from the seller

Magnificent brooch depicting two small ducks, vintage and rare, created by the famous French designer Léa Stein in Bakelite. Brooch signed 'LEA STEIN PARIS'. It is in very good condition despite the years (period 1968–1980). This series was already very pricey in the 1968–1980 period (information about this brooch can be found in the book Lea Stein Jewelry by Judith Just).
All Léa Stein items are still largely handmade. There aren’t two identical. The brooches are fixed using a heat-setting process, which can sometimes leave unusual marks or scratches on the back or around the attachment area. This is perfectly normal and does not constitute a defect.
This brooch is a genuine collector's item, emblematic of the refined style of the late 1960s.
A beautiful addition to any vintage jewelry collection.
Dimensions: 4 cm × 3.1 cm.
Weight: 3.10 g.
Delivered with a transparent dust bag (not original).
Without box.
