Description from the seller
AMA • Pope (1985) - " Aurora LidlLuxury " - Lidl - 2/20
When hard discount becomes a luxury icon.
After the success of the Aurora Borealis, Aurora Counterfeit Original, Aurora Fake Authentic... AMA continues its ironic exploration of contemporary consumer codes with a new luminous creation, as disturbing as it is seductive.
Aurora LidlLuxury – LIVE POOR / BE RICH distorts the imagination of popular discount to turn it into a desirable, chrome, luminous, almost sacred object.
A stark black contrast on wood between social reality and the fantasy of wealth.
Live poor on one side, be rich on the other.
A simple, brutal, universal slogan.
The day: a chromed teddy bear from the imagination of hard discount.
The night: a multicolored aurora borealis lights up the space.
A brutal contrast between forced consumption and the desire for luxury.
Limited edition of 20 pieces for 2025, signed, numbered, and delivered with an AMA certificate of authenticity.
Fast and secure shipping (bubble wrap, tissue paper, reinforced cardboard) with signature on delivery.

Who is AMA?
Born from the fusion of talents of French artist friends, the AMA collective takes you into its universe blending vibrant colors and diverse materials.
Sculptures, paintings, and installations, the collective passionately employs a multitude of techniques to bring its works to life.
The AMA collective mainly draws its inspiration from the world around it, but also through currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name just a few.
Whether for a gift, a keepsake, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you will easily find your favorite piece thanks to the diversity of our works. Indeed, AMA pursues its passion for urban art through street art and pop art creations (limited edition or not), covering a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (bitcoin, ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medications, recycling and upcycling, as well as products from the agro-food and fashion industries (sports, sneakers...).
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, AMA likes to playfully reinterpret labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans, and many others.
Dear bidders, our team is making every effort to ensure that all the necessary information for evaluating the lot being sold is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claims will be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
