Regarding dating, probably the two knotted parts (which form the pocket) were applied subsequently, as the Kilim part (of the Warp-faced Kilim type, in which the warp threads are visible and not the wefts as is the case with more common kilims) appears to be much older, (probably late 1800s) and is made with goat hair and dyed with natural dyes of the very highest quality, and the workmanship is of excellent manufacture, whereas the rug/mat part is more recent.
This is a collectible object of great value in terms of craftsmanship.
The artifact is adorned with some tufts of horsehair attached to the ends
Regarding condition, the artifact is well preserved and free of damage.
There is restoration visible in the photos.
It is a nomadic artifact that has truly been used for its purpose
