Description from the seller
Superb decorative Italian Capodimonte porcelain set, comprising a ewer and its matching tray, produced by Bernini, 20th century.
The set is richly decorated with relief scenes of putti (cherubs), surrounded by floral scrolls and abundant gilding, typical of the Italian Baroque style. The workmanship is fine, detailed and highly decorative, designed as a centerpiece for a display cabinet or for decoration.
The porcelain displays an original glaze crazing, a normal and sought-after feature for this type of production, with no cracks, no chips, and no restoration. The gilding is well preserved for the age of the piece.
The two pieces bear the Capodimonte mark – Made in Italy – Bernini under the base.
A high-quality decorative piece, ideal for collectors or enthusiasts of Italian porcelain.
