lucia - Abisso

The blue enamel wraps the fabric like a dense wave that coats every fiber. The central knots serve as a visual focal point, suggesting the idea of an indissoluble bond or a secret kept within the folds. The reflective surface plays with the ambient light, making the work appear in constant flux, as if still wet.

The Knot as Identity. The stage name "Lucia Nei Nodi" finds here its full expression. The knot is a powerful archetype: it represents connection, obstruction, memory, but also the strength to hold together fragmented parts. In this work, the knots seem to tell stories of lived experience, moments of stoppage and subsequent restart, transforming the "tangle" of life into an orderly structure endowed with its own intrinsic beauty.

Matter becomes thought. In my works, the fabric is not a mere backdrop, but the protagonist of an entanglement that becomes sculpture. Each knot is a bond, every metallic reflection is a new light on an old memory.
