Art Deco pedestal dish in alpaca non-magnetic silver (nieuwzilver), dating to 1930–1940, with a 35.5 cm wide conical bowl on a 15 cm foot, total height 22.5 cm, weight 1060 g, and marked on the underside with a star and the code 171B or 971B.

Elegant Art Deco footed bowl, made in alpaca (high-quality nickel silver), dating from the interwar period, circa 1920–1935.
The design is characterized by a broad, conical bowl and a refined, openwork stem with stylized, flowing lines that are typical of the Art Deco period.
The bowl is meticulously finished and stands stably on its base. The proportions are harmonious and give the object a pronounced decorative appearance, both as a centerpiece and in a display cabinet.

– Marked on the underside with a star and the code 171B or 971B (factory or model code)
Condition
In good vintage condition, with normal signs of use and aging, a few scratches and dents and light superficial scratches from mechanical polishing perhaps, and patina, visible upon closer inspection.
No cracks, no repairs, no structural damage.
The interior shows signs of wear consistent with its age and use.
