Biography and Career

My work dwells at the intersection of the timeless archetype and contemporary experience. It seeks to be a counterbalance, a space of spiritual reconnection in an era of digital ephemerality and technological alienation.

My practice, which fuses painting, photography, and performance, is anchored in the body and in the dignity of the hand-made gesture. In dialogue with the philosophy of William Morris's Arts & Crafts movement, I understand the creative process as an act of resistance against the mechanization of experience. Each stroke and each composition arise from an intuition that seeks to reclaim a more human and organic rhythm, juxtaposing the ritual depth of painting with the immediacy of the digital.

My work is part of an artistic genealogy that returns to the spiritual. Just as the symbolists of the 19th century, like Odilon Redon or Gustav Klimt, sought a language for the ineffable in the face of the industrial era, my work delves into the symbolic as a necessary refuge today. The heart of this search is to cultivate a secular spirituality: a mystical experience without dogma, where art becomes the true ritual. My compositions function as choreographies that reclaim ancestral gestures. The confrontation of a classical body with a prosaic object — a plastic chair raised to a throne — is not a statement, but an act to redefine the everyday and to show that universal archetypes continue to offer an essential anchor in the face of technological volatility.

In the face of a hyperconnected present that is often devoid of meaning, I see my role as an artist as that of a mediator. My practice is an invitation to stop, to disconnect from the transience in order to reconnect with a timeless depth. Each piece seeks to be a threshold, a space of introspection where ritual does not explain the mystery of existence, but rather allows us to inhabit it, rediscovering that the pursuit of transcendence is an indispensable part of our humanity.
