Sutton-Coldfield - Chess set - Vintage tower clock made of Bakelite

This vintage chess clock was introduced by Stellan Persson in Copenhagen and is operated by a push bar. It was used, for example, in the Tal–Andersson chess match in Malmö in 1983. The clock shows signs of wear on the white paint on the front, but is fully functional! It is a classic collectible that will catch the eye not only of chess players. The Tower chess clock was distributed in the United Kingdom by Chessmagazin Sutton-Coldfield, which is why collectors count Sutton-Coldfield clocks among their items.
