In a time that rewards distraction and normalizes voluntary blindness,
The eye remains closed by choice, not out of ignorance.
Seeing has become an awkward act.

The third eye does not open upward,
but toward the present.
It does not promise superior knowledge,
it imposes a radical presence.

This face does not ask to be interpreted:
Resist.
The gaze is vigilant, not reassuring.
The sign is lit up like an alarm, not like a sacred symbol.

Whoever keeps it closed preserves the peace.
If you open it, you lose the excuses.

The work resides at that exact point.
in which the vision ceases to be spiritual
and it becomes a responsibility.


In the 21st century, in this existence, people are increasingly sensitive to facial expressions. The poetics of the face expresses itself through a lived experience dictated by contemporary new values, probing nihilistic values and an extreme narcissism.
