AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Recently I’ve been spending a lot more time in the countryside. Village life in Germany feels different to me than in Canada—here, animals seem much more present and woven into everyday life. I regularly see chickens, cows, sheep, and horses, and I’m often surprised by how much calm comes from simply watching them and noticing their sense of contentment.

In this group of paintings, I imagine a relationship between myself and these animals. It’s important to say that this connection comes purely from observation rather than direct contact; I’m usually just watching them from a distance, in their fields. The relationship is imagined, shaped by quiet moments of looking and reflecting.

Please note that the colours of the painting may vary slightly from the photos due to individual screen settings.
Each painting is thoughtfully packaged and shipped within three working days of receiving payment.
