Description from the seller
Red Pond – Painting on canvas, 100 x 70 cm.
"Red Pond" places a koi fish in a space dominated by an intense red that substitutes water as its natural environment. The color, far from being descriptive, acts as an emotional field that envelops the figure and accentuates its symbolic presence. The koi, traditionally associated with perseverance and transformation, appears suspended in an almost abstract space, where the shadow reinforces the sense of depth and contained movement. The work blends realism and chromatic synthesis to propose a pond more mental than physical, inviting an introspective and contemplative reading.
I am a visual artist with a primary focus on painting. My work centers on exploring color as a language and as a medium to construct landscapes that originate in the mind but seek to materialize in physical reality. Each piece is an attempt to translate sensations, memories, and inner atmospheres into tangible images, creating a bridge between the intangible and the visible. Color is the axis of my research: I use it not only as an aesthetic element but also as a tool to open emotional and perceptual spaces.
The work is sent with a certificate of authenticity.
