Description from the seller
Original vintage poster from that era for the famous French series “C’est à la France que le monde doit ses ailes”, illustrated by Lucien Cavé.
Subject: Louis Blériot – "Première traversée de la Manche" (25 July 1909), iconic Art Deco scene with a monoplane in flight over the English Channel and a shoreline crowded with spectators.
Credits on the plate clearly legible: signature "Lucien Cavé", the inscription "Édité par le Secrétariat Général à la Défense Aérienne" and printer "La Publicité Synchronisée Lyon-Paris".
Format: 38 × 29 cm. Back: white with normal transparency/“ghosting” typical of vintage paper.

Overall very good, with vivid colors and a clean image. Only normal signs of wear due to age are present:
slight wear and rounding on edges and corners,
small folds/marks of handling on the margins,
tiny chips / localized micro-scratches (see close-up photo)
On the reverse, a slight imprint/ghosting of the printing (not unusual for antique paper).
Sold as shown in the photos, which are an integral part of the description.
