Handsome illustrated copy of Lewis Carroll's classic work ‘Through the Looking-Glass’. It is a work of children's literature by the English mathematician and author, Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, written under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll.
The book is illustrated with 16 attractive full-page in colour, and also fully illustrated by the original charming drawings of John Tenniel. Published by Macmillan and Co Limited, London, 1956. Publisher’s original green cloth with black lettering, and gilt vignette, and illustrations of Alice and rabbit on upper board, and spine. Illustrated endpaper pages.

Condition:
The book is beautifully bound, designed and illustrated. Firm and well-bound copy. External covers in nice shape, with light wear to corners, and some fading to spine. Internally; the book in very good condition indeed. No names or inscriptions. Pages are very clean and bright. Text is fresh, and all colour plates are present and in excellent condition (Excellent Copy) (Please see pictures).
