Casper Ruud is a Norwegian professional tennis player. He is the first Norwegian to win an ATP tournament (he has won 11 in total) and the first Norwegian to reach world No. 2. His most notable achievements are reaching the finals of Roland Garros in 2022 and 2023, US Open 2022 and ATP Finals 2022; as well as reaching the finals of two Masters 1000 events.
His father, Christian Ruud, was also a professional tennis player and reached as high as No. 39 in the ATP rankings.
