Description from the seller
"Red rooster". The rooster is the most ancient emblem of the herald of dawn, awakening, vigilance, a call to rebirth and battle. Symbolizes military courage and inspiration. A symbol of struggle and battle. In this vibrant expressionist oil painting, I plunge into a sea of emotions using bold red as a canvas for unpredictable eruptions of blues and whites. Each stroke reflects a raw, untamed energy, evoking passion and chaos intertwined. The artwork invites onlookers to embrace their own intensity and the unpredictable beauty of existence, adding a vivid statement to any space.
An oil painting on canvas (unframed), with mounting hardware included. Hand-painted entirely with high-quality oil paints using a custom-made palette knife. A certificate of authenticity is included. Shipped in a cardboard box.
Svitlana Andriichenko, a Ukrainian artist born in 1977 and based in Germany, uses oil paints to manifest her passionate feelings on canvas. Through abstraction and impasto techniques, she gives her work depth, applying thick layers of vibrant hues with a palette knife. Art by Svitlana Andriichenko decries reality's dull mimicry, revealing instead a subjective reality defined by her intense emotions, aspirations, and life experiences. The artist's work is represented in galleries such as Singulart, Artfinder, Saatchi Art, Artmajeur, and others.
Since 2021, she has held several solo exhibitions, most of which were in Cologne, Germany. She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions and fairs in Italy, Greece, the UK, Israel, and Germany. Today, her paintings are in private collections in the USA, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Poland, Israel, Norway, Germany, France, Turkey, and Ukraine, among other countries.
After the war began in February 2022, she managed to transport over 200 paintings from Ukraine to Cologne, where the artist currently lives and works.
