A phurba (also called kīla or purba) is a ritual three-bladed dagger that is central in Tibetan Buddhist ceremonies, especially in the Vajrayana tradition. It is not a weapon, but a spiritual instrument.

Three-leafed point: Symbolizes the severing of the three poisons (attachment, aversion, and ignorance)

Ritual use: It is used to pin down negative energies and create protective spaces during ceremonies.
