Deep vibrant blue saturates this canvas before VANTA begins the careful work of removal. A human form materializes through strategic paint removal - scratching, wiping, dissolving away layers to reveal the figure beneath. Working within a single blue, all variation comes from how much pigment has been taken away, creating lighter passages where form catches implied light and preserving darkness where shadows define depth and contour.

The figure emerges incompletely, as if struggling to fully materialize or perhaps fading back into the blue void.
