This lot of two books describes and documents in detail the process of Constant Polari.
Trial of Constant Polari, condemned on March 8, 1834, by the Court of Assizes of Holland, for the theft of the diamonds and jewels of Her Highness and the Princess of Orange. Published by P.N. Arntzenius, Director in Law, Clerk-Registrar at the Superior Court of Justice.
With the portrait and the facsimile of the condemned man, and two lithographed plates.
The Hague and Brussels, at Th. Lejeune, Bookseller-Publisher, Lithographer, Type Foundry. - 1835.
The books and the accompanying documents are in excellent condition.
Some pages, however, show slight discoloration due to age.
