A very distinctive abstract work by the Cobra painter Lucebert (Lubertus Swaanswijk).
Lucebert, as a painter, was closely involved with the Amsterdam branch of the experimental
COBRA group. The work was purchased from Fine Art Dealers in January 2002.
E.J. van Wisselingh & Co in Haarlem / Mr. Willem de Winter and later supplied with a beautiful
suitable baking tray.
Mr. de Winter is known as an expert in modern art on the TV program "Tussen Kunst en Kitch"
The authenticity of the work is guaranteed in writing by Mr. de Winter on the purchase invoice.
At the same time as the purchase, an official appraisal report has been prepared by Mr. de Winter.

It is a rare early and abstract painting by Lucebert, something that very few people have ever seen before.
We have seen, and perhaps even thought it wasn’t possible. That’s precisely what makes art so fascinating.
