Ontake The First Edition 2023 is the inaugural single malt whisky release from the Ontake Distillery. This whisky is matured in old sherry casks, specifically first-fill solera sherry butts, which contribute to its unique flavor profile. The whisky is non-chill filtered and bottled at an ABV of 43%, with a volume of 700ml. It is noteworthy that all whisky releases from Ontake are exclusively matured in these old sherry casks, which is a distinctive feature of their production process.
