Description from the seller

Chinese porcelain plate depicting 'The Lady with the Parasol'.
The motif was devised by the Dutch painter Cornelis Pronk (1691-1759) for the Dutch East India Company (VOC).
It is decorated in cobalt blue, iron red, and gold tones.
The main scene depicts a lady and her maid in a garden, with the lady reaching out her hand toward some birds.
It dates back to the 18th century, particularly to the Qianlong era (1736–1796) of the Qing dynasty.
The diameter is 23 cm.
On the back, it features drawn insects.
Unfortunately it has a small chip, as shown in the photo.
