Meysoon Katan, born in 1981 in Tehran, is a visual artist and painter. With a background in graphic design, she has been actively involved in the field since her high school and university studies. However, it was in the past decade that she fully embraced painting as her main artistic pursuit. Meysoon's artworks have been showcased in numerous solo and group exhibitions across various countries. In her body of work, women often take center stage as the primary subjects. As a contemporary female artist, Meysoon aims to depict her personal experiences and address issues that are particularly relevant to women.
