Two-item lot: a refurbished original Russian brass Medal “For the Defense of the Caucasus” awarded to Air Force personnel and lacking a certificate, plus a 1995 commemorative mechanical wristwatch (No. 971) dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, with a substitute leather strap and confirmed to be working.

The Medal "For the Defense of the Caucasus" was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on May 1, 1944, establishing the Medal "For the Defense of the Caucasus." The medal's design was created by artist N. I. Moskalov.
The Medal "For the Defense of the Caucasus" was awarded to all participants in the defense of the Caucasus—servicemen of the Red Army, Navy, and NKVD troops, as well as civilians who directly participated in the defense.
The Medal "For the Defense of the Caucasus" is worn on the left chest and, if other USSR medals are worn, is placed after the Medal "For the Defense of Kyiv."
As of 1985, approximately 870,000 people had been awarded the Medal "For the Defense of the Caucasus." 2.A commemorative mechanical wristwatch from 1995, dedicated to the fiftieth anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.Very rare watches were issued for World War II veterans on May 9, 1995. Watch number 971. See photo for watch condition. Leather strap is a substitute. Watch works correctly. Good condition.Due to the failure to redeem the Lot, it is being put up for auction again
