Steel case with a Bubble Back-type screw-down case back, 36 mm diameter excluding the crown, an innovative size for its era and destined to become the standard for the Datejust. Bezel in Gold. Crown Rolex.

Original-era dial with a date window at 3 o’clock, applied indices and graphics consistent with early-1950s production. Uniform patina present, in keeping with the watch’s age. Hands correct for the period. Plexiglass crystal.

Automatic mechanical movement Rolex with date, functioning at the time of cataloging; not tested for chronometric precision nor for water resistance.

Overall condition good considering over 70 years of age, with signs of use and wear consistent with the period. No recent aesthetic restoration declared. The photographs are an integral part of the description and faithfully represent the condition of the watch.
