Wool coat by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac for women, crème with beige and copper-toned woven stripes, vintage, 85 cm in length with 55 cm sleeves, shoulder 60 cm, bust 67 cm, made in France, wrap model with a high 39 cm collar that can be closed with brass press studs to form a hood, belt and two large zip pockets, silver embroidered logo, very good condition with light signs of wear.

A unique, very warm 100% wool coat by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac.
Woven pattern with stripes, thicker wool pile, undyed, cream with hints of copper and beige.
High collar of 39 cm, can be closed with a series of brass snap buttons, optionally into a hood.
Finished with two buckles and a suede strap to allow the collar to open wider if needed.
Two large zippered side pockets.
Wrap style: fasten with a single button on the inside at the waist and on the outside.
Silver-embroidered logo of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, registered design.
Jean-Charles, Marquis de Castelbajac (1949), also known as JC/DC, is a French fashion designer. He had international successes with a number of his creations, including a coat with teddy bears worn by pop star Madonna and by supermodel Helena Christensen in the film Prêt-à-Porter, a sequined jacket for Beyoncé and a Donald Duck costume for Rihanna. During his career he befriended and collaborated with artists such as Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Malcolm McLaren, Robert Mapplethorpe, MIA, Cassette Playa, Curry & Coco, The Coconut Twins and Lady Gaga.
