Magnificent set of three leather-bound prestige volumes of Le Monde Physique by Amédée Guillemin, published in Paris by Librairie Hachette & Cie – 1883.
These volumes are devoted to essential scientific themes of the 19th century, with careful illustrations and an elegant presentation:
Volume III – Magnetism and Electricity
→ Contains 20 large plates outside the text (including several in color and technical plates), and 577 explanatory vignettes inserted in the text.
Volumes IV & V – Appendices to the treaty with diagrams, figures and detailed explanations.
