A dynamic work with a bold color palette of blue, orange, turquoise, and violet, crisscrossed by vertical gold lines that lend the lively pattern structure and depth.
Title: Golden Traces Series IV
Year of creation: 2025
Technique: Mixed media – oil chalk and gold leaf on solid beechwood.
Dimensions: 25 × 25 × 3 cm. No additional frame—the work is on a 3 cm-deep wooden block and can be hung directly.
Signature: Signed on the back with the full name, in a black marker and with a stamp.
Edition: Unique (no edition, no print)
Provenance: Directly from the artist's studio, Studio Carla Bertone, Berlin. No previous owners, no gallery mediation.

Background on the artist
Carla P. Bertone studied Visual Arts at IUNA in Buenos Aires (graduation 2004) and, in 2022, received the NEUSTART KULTUR fellowship from the Kunstfonds Foundation. Her works have been shown internationally, including at MACBA Buenos Aires, the Patricia Dorfmann Gallery in Paris, HilbertRaum Berlin, and MMGallery Berlin. Her artistic practice explores geometric abstraction as a cognitive and spatial process. Works by Carla Bertone are in private and public collections in Buenos Aires, Rosario, Paris, and Berlin.
