Description from the seller
Digital painting on transmuted photography.
The skies I depict with an almost unreal appearance are not merely aesthetic choices; they are metaphors for the state of our environment and the consequences that human intervention has caused. Each work aims to invite reflection, to question our impact, and to imagine where we are headed if we do not regain the lost balance.
The Basilica of San Marco in Venice viewed in full, unobstructed and without facades that hide part of its essence. A plausible composition but impossible to see in reality.
This collection of works reflects on the fragile relationship between humanity and nature. Through powerful images with strong contrast, I seek to capture a world where the atmosphere seems altered, unsettling, and transmuted.
A novel photograph in which the mute is shown transformed and somehow upside down. Lights become shadows, shadows turn into lights, colors transform into their complements, and magic emerges. It is a transmuted photograph with the positive inverted, becoming what was once called a negative but highly worked and enhanced with digital painting.
These city views are the magical result of extensive research and work, both intellectual and manual with the computer. Recognizable urban landscape but completely transformed through light and color. A unique technique in the world, as far as I know.
Artistic work around the world, in order of number of paintings:
Spain, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Austria, Belgium, Japan, Taiwan, Switzerland, Mexico, Luxembourg, Romania, Australia.
