Postala pocket watch, model 16 rubis Swiss, reference 64353, from ca. 1850–1900, mechanical hand-wound movement with 16 jewels, solid silver case (0.800) with hinged back and inner dust cover, approx. 51 mm diameter, enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, weight 81 g, in very good condition with minor signs of wear.

Pocket Watch – postala– Silver 0.800 – 16 Rubies – ca. Early 20th Century
Elegant antique pocket watch and fitted with a high-quality Swiss movement.
The watch features a classic white enamel dial with large black Arabic numerals, gold steel hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock
The movement is a mechanical hand-wound lever movement with 16 rubies, marked “Ancre haute precision ”, indicating a well-finished and higher-grade construction. The balance is fitted with regulator marked F / A. Movement appears clean and complete.
The case is made of solid silver, clearly hallmarked 0.800, with a hinged back and inner dust cover. The back features an engraved shield cartouche. The case clean
