A very beautiful two-volume set by Hugo Grotius, from 1773. Printed in Schoonhoven. Commentary by Barbeyrac and textual criticism by Gronovius. All pages are readable, however the non-leather part of the binding has come loose. A magnificent collectible!

Part 1 has 535 numbered pages.
Part 2 starts at 534 and goes through 1034. The extra section has 41 pages, and the unnumbered index contains 32 pages.
