The Passage is a work that sits at the boundary between two worlds.
A visual and emotional link between the silent rigor of Nordic landscapes and the Mediterranean light of Cadaqués, a Spanish village that has accompanied me for years and continues to nourish my imagination.

At the center of the composition, a narrow road cuts through the water and the landscape, like a line of fate. It guides the eye toward the village, an immobile refuge between sea and mountains. The snow-capped peaks recall the North, the cold, solitude, while the white architecture evokes the South, warmth, memory, and artistic inspiration — notably that of Salvador Dalí, deeply linked to Cadaqués.

The atmosphere is deliberately contrasted: beautiful and austere at the same time, luminous yet slightly sinister. This paradox creates a gentle tension, almost meditative. The Passage is not merely a geographical path; it is an inner threshold — the one we cross to find ourselves.
