Description
This work presents a silent abstract landscape, constructed through geometric planes and fields of colour that evoke an inner cartography rather than a physical territory. The composition is organised in chromatic layers, where soft yet contrasting tones of ochre, green, blue and yellow engage in a balanced dialogue, creating a sense of depth and contemplation.
Small geometric elements —squares and rectangles of more intense colour— function as minimal signs of presence, fragments of memory or traces of consciousness embedded within an open and restrained space. There are no recognisable figures: the work does not narrate, it suggests. It invites the viewer to inhabit the silence between forms, to pause the gaze and allow an intimate and personal reading to emerge.
The landscape, although abstract, retains a Mediterranean and dreamlike resonance: a contained light, a nocturnal calm, an atmosphere suspended between the real and the symbolic. The painting opens itself as a threshold, a place of inner passage where time seems to slow down.
Executed with a harmonious palette and a carefully balanced composition, this artwork integrates naturally into both contemporary and classic interiors, bringing emotional depth, serenity and character.
A piece conceived around the artist’s recurring symbols: red monolithic blocks and subtle ascending stairways, understood as signs of inner passage, memory and states of consciousness. These elements do not dominate the composition but emerge quietly within the landscape, guiding the viewer through a contemplative and introspective experience.
