Rolex Air-King ref. 14010, 34 mm stainless steel automatic wristwatch with a silver dial, steel Oyster bracelet, dating from the 1990s, in very good condition with minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
In auction: pre-owned Rolex Airking ref. 14010 in very good conditions.
Amazing quality and easy wearability and are the key points of this watch.
With a bright silver dial, this full steel Rolex Air-King is going to be noticed at your wrist.
Its story:
Its roots begin all the way back to June of 1940 before the United States entered World War II: when Britain stood alone against the Nazi juggernaut.
Germany launched waves of air attacks on cities densely populated such as London: the RAF (Royal Air Force) defended their countrymen while they were seeking refuge in basements and shelters.
Hans Wilsdorf (founder of Rolex) created the “Air” series of watches to honor the heroism of those pilots. The Air-King is the last remaining model from the series.
