Locket-style pendant in yellow gold 800 (equivalent to 19.2 carats), oval-shaped, hinged and functional, allowing a photograph to be placed inside.
The front features an engraving inspired by Art Nouveau, with delicate floral motifs and organic lines, highlighting in the center the inscription “Love,” a symbol of strong emotional and sentimental significance.
On the reverse, with a smooth finish, the initials “JMR” are engraved, imparting a personal and unique character to the piece.
Verified in Portugal, in Porto, it attests to its authenticity and origin.
In terms of typology, style, and the alloy used, this is a piece from the Art Nouveau era, probably dated between 1890 and 1915, constituting an elegant and valuable example of antique Portuguese jewelry, with considerable historical and emotional significance.
