Description from the seller
Lodewijk Busing, born 1965, Maastricht
Lodewijk Busing was born in Maastricht, but has spent most of his life living in the Bollenstreek.
He draws his inspiration mainly from nature during his walks in his living environment (Duin en Bollenstreek)
In addition to Kingfishers, he also often paints other Dutch birds in winter scenes under his pseudonym.
such as robins, wrens, tits, among others.
He nevertheless pursues the intensity of the light and its contrast, but with a slightly warm tint, creating an almost still atmosphere.
The painting is signed below with his pseudonym CH van Dijk.
The painting has a beautiful solid wood frame with a decorative edge, which allows the painting to come into its own and provides a stunning contrast with the kingfisher on a snow-covered branch.
The painting is painted on a panel with beveled edges on the back.
and has a size excluding the frame of 33 cm x 33 cm; with the frame the size is 50.5 cm x 50.5 cm
The painting will be sent with an insured value.
(packed with the utmost care)
The original certificate is attached to the back of the panel.
