David W. Mack (Cincinnati, October 7, 1972) is an American writer, artist, director, and designer.
Throughout his career, marked by major successes, he has collaborated with all the leading players in the American publishing industry (Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, Image, and others).
He is the author and artist of the book 'KABUKI', a New York Times best seller, and he is a writer for Marvel's Daredevil, for which he created the character Echo, making her debut on screen for Marvel and Disney+.
He has received an Emmy Award nomination for the opening titles of Jessica Jones on Netflix; he has designed the covers for Neil Gaiman's American Gods, Norse Mythology, Jessica Jones, and for Chuck Palahniuk's comic Fight Club 2.
His work alongside Brian Michael Bendis on the series “Cover” was nominated for three Eisner Awards: “Best Graphic Novel,” “Best Cover Artist,” and “Best Painter.”
For the Oscar-nominated film Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Mack created the graphics and concept for the title sequence with Sarofsky Designs, which received the Excellence in Titles Design Award.
Mack's work has received nominations for ten Eisner Awards, four International Eagle Awards, and the Harvey and Kirby Awards in the 'Best New Talent' category, as well as many other national and international awards and nominations. His works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions around the world, and some are permanently housed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
