In this painting on a textured base, the artist drew many colored, blended bands that intertwine and overlap to form a harmonious whole, all with relaxing tones such as red, ochre yellow, and blue. As the Artist imagined them, they should give the viewer the sense of looking at a cocktail, like a Blue Moon made with liqueurs and tropical fruit.

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and has been working in the fields of fashion and art since 1980. In 1999, he began exhibiting his works; in 2002, he held his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Monaco, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.
