Artist's biography
Mara Barotti first approached painting about 20 years ago, taking courses at various schools in Rovigo, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Padua, with particular interest in realist and hyperrealistic portraiture.
Her path has undergone several changes, arriving at the abstract techniques of cubism.
Intense colors have become the distinctive signature of her works.
She has participated in competitions and exhibitions, earning recognitions including fourth place at the Contemporary Art Talent Show, Padua Fair.
The change to seek the true artistic expression that represents the moments of her life is the aim of her painting.
