Under a light that filters through, thick and amber, as through wine, two women inhabit the silence of a room. The chairs that hold them are islands of geometric order, cushioned with the taut weave of black stripes and siennas that vibrate, restless, against the oppressive calm of the walls. They are not conversing; they are being. One, perhaps slightly leaning forward, bears the weight of the world in the curve of her back; the other, more reclined against the back, seems to meld with the shadow of the corner. Their faces and hands, modeled with impastoed, gestural brushstrokes, do not seek epidermal likeness, but the anatomy of the emotional state: there is an ancient sadness here, a shared fatigue or a waiting without object.
It is a piece that will be sent by mail, securely packaged and rolled in a tube. It is a pictorial work where the brushwork is evident. The shipping and its cost are borne by the client. It will be signed on one side and by hand. It is a piece created by the artist who currently preserves it; it is a contemporary work and in perfect condition.
I am an artist who, from a very young age, has enjoyed and is passionate about the brush and color. I paint with love, putting in every piece of canvas a fragment of myself. With formal training and a Latin heart, from Spain I show my work to the world. Through projects and exhibitions, the pieces transcend geographic borders.
