Description from the seller
I am a visual artist of Cuban origin who today resides in Spain, in the province of Cuenca. Academically, I pursued my specialization in engraving at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts. You can find references to my work on the web at Oleos and Canvas, a site that operates from Canada to various parts of the world. I have been exhibiting and participating from a very young age in projects such as the XXIII Havana International Biennial. With the project as an artist of the Auparte Perfil Cultural Association in the collective show “Crossed Presences,” in Tarancón, Cuenca. A show of which I am presenting some images. My works also travel along parts of the coast, this time at Gallery Albir, from Alicante, Spain. As well as multiple alternative spaces within Madrid.
This particular work shows an intimate relationship in a serene room, bathed in a soft, filtered light that threads through sheer veils; a group of women share the intimate ritual of tea. The watercolor captures this moment with a calm, earthly palette, where soft greens from the plants on the windowsill and muted blues of the dresses and fine porcelain predominate. These cool tones converse in harmony with the warmth of ochres and raw sienna.
The piece will be shipped securely by mail, rolled in a tube with no frames or stretcher. Shipping is at the customer's expense.
