Sculpture, Jeune garçon assis - 19 cm - Alabaster

Alabaster sculpture depicting a seated young boy, executed in the Art Deco style and signed at the tip Ruchot (?) . The work is characteristic of French production around 1920.


The young boy is depicted sitting on a stylized rocky pedestal, dressed in simple, casual clothing, with a realistic rendering of the volumes and folds of the garments.

The pose is natural and expressive, giving the whole scene an intimate and charming quality.

In good condition, just a few small natural and common chips on alabaster.
