Lapis lazuli - Silver - Signet ring - A Ring with a Secret

Afghan silver ring with brass accents, handmade craftsmanship. The ring can be opened and features a hidden inner compartment.

On the outside is inlaid an engraved lapis lazuli depicting two ibexes facing each other, arranged symmetrically.
Within the cavity there are two carved stones:
– a lapis lazuli with the head of a hero,
– a carnelian decorated with animal heads arranged in a circle.

The stones are all carved. The setting is sturdy, enriched with decorative elements and brass inlays.
The ring does not bear punch marks or hallmarks indicating silver fineness, a common feature in traditional Afghan jewelry.
