Mountains of Fun is a colorful and vibrant pop-art work by American artist James Rizzi from 1998, created in the context of the Nagano Winter Olympics. It was produced as a silkscreen (serigraph) in a limited edition and showcases Rizzi’s characteristic playful style with cheerful, fanciful elements and dynamic compositions that radiate fun and energy. James Rizzi was an American pop-art artist born in Brooklyn, New York. He studied visual arts, graphics, and sculpture at the University of Florida, where he developed his distinctive 3D printing technique by building up parts of prints in multiple layers with depth effects.
