Description from the seller
Digital black-and-white print on satin RC photographic paper.
Dimensions: 29 x 21 cm with margins.
Photographic credit printed on the back.
Notes on the back. In excellent condition.
Marilyn in bed, with a glass in her hand.
Portrait of Milton H. Greene in 1953.
The photograph shows Marilyn Monroe under the sheets. The caption indicates it was taken at the home of film producer Joseph Schenck. This is quite curious, as it is usually dated 1955 and credited as being taken at the home of Milton H. Greene.
Joseph Schenck was a Hollywood film magnate, and it was rumored that he had a relationship with the actress. His estate (it wasn't even a villa) spanned several dozen acres and was the largest property in Los Angeles.
