Description from the seller

Poster created by Monsieur Z in partnership with the city of Cassis, on the French Riviera, to promote tourism in Cassis as well as the event.

The Italian Village, or "Portofino is Cassis", is an annual event that celebrates Italian culture and lifestyle in the town of Cassis, France. The 2020 event, depicted on the poster, was the 12th edition.

The event is known for:

Fashion, Design and Gastronomy: Showcasing culinary specialties, fashion, and decor items "Made in Italy".

It is a partnership between the Italian Chamber of Commerce for France in Marseille (CCIFM) and the town of Cassis, inspired by the atmosphere of Portofino, Italy.

It includes exhibitions and parades of iconic Vespas and Fiat 500s, as well as musical performances and art exhibitions.

This poster is a work of art created by French illustrator and graphic designer Richard Zielenkiewicz, known by the pseudonym Monsieur Z. These posters are collectible and produced in partnership with the city for the annual event.

Monsieur Z is Richard Zielenkiewicz, a famous French illustrator and designer, passionate about the architecture of the 20th century, as well as about the American Way of Life of the 1950s.
