The artworks are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually sent back to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from departure in the United States to your home.

If the item is damaged, you must refuse delivery and specify the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as 'broken', 'scratched', 'damaged', or 'crumpled'. If only the packaging is damaged but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. Conversely, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. If you submit a withdrawal request, the DHL fees will remain at your expense. You will be responsible for the DHL Express shipping fees, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his sculptures One Dollar, that same year ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its work FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive two-meter bronze sculpture, One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl's artistic journey began at the age of 7 with collages, prompted by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot Gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his piece Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his works One Dollar on the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His solo exhibition in 2016 at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

In 2010, he was chosen to represent Deauville at the Horsemania World Equestrian Championship in Lexington, where he created a horse sculpture dedicated to the event. In 2012, he presents to Deauville his Cryptogram One sculpture, a symbolic bronze of peace and love, located at the entrance to the town. The same year, in collaboration with Corbis, he built a monumental sculpture for the Cannes Film Festival, using photographs from 1945 to 2011, signed by personalities such as Alexandra Lamy and Matthew McConaughey.
The artist gained notoriety in 2009 with his 'One Dollar' sculptures, which earned him a spot on Artprice's list of the world's top ten sculptors under 30.

In 2017, he was selected to design the trophies for the 43rd American Film Festival. Drawing inspiration from "Cryptogram One", he created a trophy cast in aluminum with a polished mirror finish, bearing messages such as "Hope", "the 7th Art" and "Deauville" on its four faces. For the 46th edition of the Festival in 2020, Karl Lagasse received a commission to produce a new trophy, inspired by an iconic Deauville symbol: the drawing of the barriers that separate the cabins on the Planches.

In 2016, France Culture mentioned Karl in an article about his monumental installation, A Piece of Heaven on Earth, which combines a Maserati covered in white plastic and a statue of Jesus surrounded by dollar-shaped sculptures, symbolizing human debt. This work was unveiled at the 2015 Art Paris Art Fair in collaboration with Maserati. In 2017, he created the Deauville American Film Festival Trophy, drawing inspiration from his work Cryptogramme One and adding messages such as "Hope" and "7e Art" on the trophies.
