In this work, I sketch the shape of water lilies by decontextualizing them from their usual environment. I reintegrate here my floral motif by placing it in an ethereal atmosphere. Despite somewhat undefined outlines, the whites assert themselves against the areas not depicted and energize the piece, granting it a gentle energy. The gaze goes back and forth, settling on one corner of the painting and then on the other. The movement thus depicted finds its rhythm as contemplation unfolds.
