Set of three Denbac glazed earthenware jugs from Vierzon, France, dating to circa 1930–1950, in Art Deco/Art Moderne style, each approximately 21.5–22 cm high with a 12 cm diameter, made of glazed ceramic.

Set of 3 Denbac earthenware jugs – France, circa 1930–1950
Beautiful set of three French earthenware cream jugs from Denbac (Vierzon), rendered in the distinctive Art Deco / Art Moderne style. Each jug has an elegant, organic form with a handle and is finished with a rich, flowing glaze decoration.
The set displays three different color schemes:
green-purple with vertical accents
Signed, Model 414
height 22 cm, diameter 12 cm
deep blue with green drip glazes
height 21.5 cm diameter 12 cm
light blue with beige/cream drip glaze
height 21.5 cm, diameter 10 cm
The glazes are vibrant, with subtle color transitions and a beautiful glossy surface, typical of Denbac productions from the early to mid-20th century. The undersides are unglazed; one piece is marked, the other unmarked but clearly matching in form and technique.
Country:
Good vintage condition. Light signs of wear appropriate for the age. No cracks or restorations. Any small irregularities in the glaze are inherent to the production.
