Second edition of this reference work by the Cambrésien physician Amé Bourdon (1636–1706?), intended to accompany the eight monumental anatomical plates completed in 1678. This descriptive text, first published in 1679, went through a third edition in 1687. A pleasant copy, in a sturdy period binding.
